◆ Motivation for joining the company
When I was a student, my research subject was phthalocyanines. Functional pigments such as phthalocyanine are used not only to express colors, but also to absorb or transmit only certain wavelengths of light. When I learned about this, I found it interesting. I want to know more about pigments and touch them. Besides, if I'm going to work, I want to do what I like. When I was looking for a company related to pigments, I learned about Yamada Chemical. I listened to the company information and found it very appealing, so I decided to apply.
◆Current job
When I joined the company, I was assigned to the development department, and after gaining experience there for a year, I was transferred to my current analysis group. The analysis group I belong to uses a variety of analytical devices to perform instrumental analyzes such as purity analysis and analysis for structure determination. Analysis targets range from raw materials, intermediates, and products to newly developed materials. It's been a while since I moved to the analysis group, and I'm still learning from the beginning under my senior colleagues, but I've been able to do a lot more than I originally expected. If I don't understand something, I want to ask my seniors and superiors and learn from them, acquire knowledge and skills, and gain experience so that I can quickly become independent.
◆Work satisfaction/experience stories
Purity analysis requires that the peaks of each component be separated in order to properly detect the amount of each component in the sample. The analytical conditions for this are unknown for new projects, so we consider appropriate conditions for each sample and perform the analysis. When the peaks are separated as intended, I feel happy and at the same time feel a sense of accomplishment. My daily work is motivated by the hope that someday when I can do it on my own, I will find analysis even more interesting and enjoyable. Also, when I was in development, perhaps because I had just joined the company, I didn't really understand anything other than the theme I was given. Now, I can deepen my knowledge because I can touch on various themes from the samples that are brought in for analysis.
◆Future vision
I want to become an analysis professional who can help those who request analysis. Specifically, it involves accurately understanding the background and intent of the request, as well as the information you want to know, using appropriate analytical methods, and communicating the results. Of course, I think that technology is important, but more than that, I want to be able to properly research the results and information that clients want.
I want to become an analytical professional who pays close attention to the intentions and subtleties of the minds of my clients, who are my clients.

There are many opportunities to acquire knowledge and skills through seminars and courses. Many of our employees are different in age from me, but they all treat me in a friendly and friendly manner. The goodness of such people is also one of the attractions.

◆How to spend your holidays
I'm basically an indoor person, and I spend most of my time at home playing games and reading manga. The games are mostly sports games and RPGs. On the days before holidays, I sometimes work until late at night.
Sometimes I go to soothing spots such as an aquarium. It may be important for me to have time to look at the aquarium and not think about anything.
